Futurehome is a luxury home electronics company, providing its clients with high quality, innovative products and an comprehensive installation service.

Business Challenge
Futurehome was trading in an increasingly competitive market, and had taken the decision to dramatically alter its business model, moving from low cost high volume home AV and hi-fi products, to a select range of high-end luxury home electronics, supported by a comprehensive installation service.

This shift in business direction created a requirement for a more feature-rich content management system (CMS) to support their website, along with an integrated finance option, 3D secure payment processing to meet with changing bank regulations, and the much sought after reduced CPA and improved conversion rates.

Solution
Metakinetic created a tailored ecommerce solution for Futurehome powered by MetaCommerce, giving the client a feature-rich solution comparable to many enterprise-level platforms. The MetaCommerce-powered solution provided Future Home with advanced content management and a navigation builder, facilitating the easy management of seasonal and tactical campaigns. Metakinetic reflected the high quality nature of Future Home consistently across the website providing an immersive brand experience, intuitive user journeys and strong calls to action (CTAs) throughout.

We integrated with Google's product feed to a child SKU level to increase referrals and make the products easier to find online. A data migration plan was put into place to ensure a seamless transition from the old website, without loss of revenue. A search migration strategy was implemented to maintain valuable existing search indexing, whilst the new system presented a website that met with best practice search guidelines and facilitated in-site search optimisation.

We integrated with V12 finance to enable easy processing of finance applications, with 3D Secure and PCI DSS payment processing integrated to satisfy both banks and credit card companies, whilst also instilling confidence in the security of the payment process for its website visitors.

In addition to the website itself, we also created a range of banners, buttons, CTAs and in-site promotional elements to allow Future Home to maximise the effectiveness of the website, run multiple in-site campaigns independently of Metakinetic and ensure maximum relevancy for site visitors.

Results
The launch of the new website for Futurehome has allowed the business to radically and successfully change its business model and has supported the business' change of location to an off-high street location.
The integrated finance option has provided a significant improvement in sales and has also substantially reduced the administration costs historically associated with a finance application.

The range of galleries and presentation of imagery has delivered a richer online experience for Futurehome's clients, with the feature-rich CMS enabling Futurehome to independently manage the website, negating any costs associated with content updates and enabling updates to be made quickly.

The Google products integration has increased referrals to the website, further improving performance and contributing to reduced CPA, with Futurehome able to reduce PPC spend by approximately 60%.
